Nadirah Smith serves as Senior Director of Business Development at WIN, where she is recognized as a passionate family advocate, community activist, and servant leader dedicated to strengthening families and transforming lives. With more than 20 years of service to the organization, she has held progressive leadership roles including Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, Program Development and Resource Acquisition Manager, and Senior Director of Business Development.

A strategic planner, accomplished business writer, trainer, and administrator, Ms. Smith leads the development and execution of organizational initiatives that advance WIN’s mission, expand service delivery, and promote operational excellence. She works closely with executive leadership to transform strategic vision into sustainable programs, partnerships, and organizational growth.

Ms. Smith’s leadership responsibilities include expanding WIN’s programs into new service markets and geographic regions, securing financial resources to support innovative behavioral health initiatives, strengthening community partnerships, and advancing Family Strengthening Practice as a nationally recognized evidence-based model. She also serves as a key organizational resource on regulatory compliance, public policy, and federal and Maryland laws affecting behavioral health operations.

As Senior Director of Business Development, Ms. Smith oversees a multidisciplinary team of administrators and consultants responsible for supporting the growth, expansion, and long-term sustainability of WIN’s programs. Her team manages the organization’s electronic health record systems, licensing and regulatory renewals, accreditation readiness, and strategic operational initiatives that ensure compliance and continuous quality improvement.

Known for her collaborative leadership style and analytical approach, Ms. Smith partners with executive leaders, operational teams, and community stakeholders to strengthen organizational performance, improve service quality, and enhance outcomes for the individuals and families served by WIN.
