Director of Family Services for Treatment Foster Care

Briana Palmer

With more than ten years of experience in treatment foster care, I am dedicated to supporting youth and families through compassionate, trauma-informed care. At WIN Family Services, I work to provide therapeutic foster homes for children and adolescents experiencing out-of-home placement who have elevated mental health, medical, emotional, and behavioral needs.

My passion for serving children and families began during my studies at Salisbury University, where I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2016. I continued my education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, earning my Master’s of Social Work (MSW) and a clinical certificate in Children and Families in 2017. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have gained valuable experience through internships and post-graduate positions with a variety of treatment foster care and mental health agencies.

In 2021, I earned my Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) credential and have since become a Board-Certified Supervisor for Social Work. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep commitment to helping young people and their families achieve stability, healing, and long-term success.

I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and that meaningful relationships can create lasting change. One of my favorite African proverbs I will leave with: “The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.”
